Originally founded to provide Rancho Santa Fe Security clients with a dedicated private agency to respond to their home’s burglary alarms, we have since evolved into a full-service security company serving communities throughout the region. A key part to our longevity is our commitment to staying local. We operate our own 24/7 dispatch department, staffed around the clock to support our officers and clients without outsourcing or automation in Encinitas along with our leadership team.
Patrol Division

Guard Division
Rancho Santa Fe Protective Services provides dedicated on-site security officers assigned exclusively to your property. From school resource officers to gate guards to roving guards, we offer a full range of on-site security solutions. All officers are licensed in the State of California and receive ongoing training to ensure they can effectively protect your people, assets, and facilities. Our guards may be positioned at entrances, conduct foot patrols, monitor access points, or oversee entire properties depending on each client’s needs. Professionalism and reliability are core expectations within our operations. Officers arrive on time, maintain proper uniform standards, and document activity using our digital reporting platform, allowing for immediate, accurate incident reports.
In addition to the assigned on-site officer, our 24/7 Patrol Division responds as backup whenever an incident requires additional resources, ensuring rapid support and layered protection at all times.
Superior Training
Rancho Santa Fe Protective Services is a BSIS-licensed Firearms Training Facility, providing state-authorized firearms instruction led by an instructor with elite experience as a U.S. Marine, Sheriff’s Deputy, and former U.S. Air Marshal VIPR Team member. In addition to firearms training, we offer continuing education and life-saving training opportunities to ensure our officers remain skilled, confident, and prepared for real-world emergencies. Routine shift briefings and bi-yearly all-hands training meetings reinforce consistent standards, communication, and operational readiness across our organization.
